History

60 years ago, MULAG started to manufacture vehicles for farming. The first products were three-, then four-wheel tractors for agricultural purposes. The saturation of the post-war tractor market forced the company to re-orient its product range with a focus on sewer cleaning vehicles, construction machines and heavy goods vehicles for the industry.

In the 1960s and 70s, the company defined the business sectors it is still working today: airport ground support vehicles and roadside maintenance vehicles. The focus is on towing tractors, container transporters and conveyor belt vehicles for airport ground support, as well as on roadside maintenance equipment for attachment to Daimler Unimogs and other carrier vehicles.

Production

The high quality of our products results among other things from the consequent application of the latest production methods. Strict quality demands are being applied in every step - starting already with basic components of our products.

The refinement and splitting-up of our products in concise modules - bearing in mind the different existing vehicle characteristics and customer options - and the introduction of continuous flow production resulted in an increased vehicle quality with reduced complexity and costs.

Due to our long-term expertise and extensive experience in the field of airport ground support equipment and roadside maintenance equipment the standard of quality of our products has been developed to a level reflecting our market position.
