" Crucial to the success of Loewe is the combination of high-tech, design, quality, and ease of use. "
"Did you know, that Loewe played an instrumental role in the world's first public television broadcast in Berlin in 1931? Thanks to the research work by Manfred von Ardenne, Loewe's Chief Engineer at that time. It's true, and he who once invented television, continued with the quest to surpass his achievements, time and again. And thus, the sound of our Loewe Reference is so impressive and precisely designed, that your living room will be transformed into a concert hall. We have so perfected the picture quality, that internationally famous artists of the LUMAS galleries showcase their works on the Loewe Reference. And what is also evident, is that we have conceded no compromises in the design and material quality. In addition, we continue to stay true to our roots, which is unusual for this industry...but with strong justifications. We embrace change - whilst remaining true to our values. I hope that you will continue to accompany us on our journey!"
At the 8th Berlin Radio Exhibition in 1931, "Radio AG D. S. Loewe" presented the world's first electronic film transmission. Manfred von Ardenne, Loewe's first Chief Engineer, had found the perfect replacement for inefficient mechanical picture transmission methods - the "Braun" cathode ray tube. With this, in 1923 - just eight years after its creation - the Loewe brothers' company embarked upon a path that was to set the course for the brand's future.
Over the years, Loewe has produced truly meaningful "Made in Germany" innovations, focusing exclusively on technologies bringing genuine user benefits. This helps to explain the enduring appeal of Loewe's classically minimalist designs, standing the test of time and maintaining their premium value. All coming together to create the smartest possible entertainment systems: designed to integrate seamlessly in your life.
For over 90 years, Loewe has invented television, as we today know it. Throughout this time, we have kept our "Made in Germany" promise. The company's development, production and service departments are still based in Kronach (Upper Franconia). With good reason: from here, we build long-term partnerships with our suppliers; our employees work here with huge dedication and take great pride in striving to meet the highest quality standards - and to continue to exceed them. We feel that we remain as young and dynamic as a start-up company: the desire for reinvention is what drives us. This combination of innovation, expertise and unique experience gives us our advantage when competing with the "big players" in our industry.
