How long TYPO3 v8.7 ELTS support lasts

The TYPO3 core team announced “Goodbye v8 - you've served us well!” on the 31st of March, 2020. Soon after, TYPO3 v8.7 ELTS was launched in April 2020, promising another three years of support.

This was the first time we introduced an Agency Plan if you need to apply ELTS cover to more than eight TYPO3 instances.

Recent TYPO3 v8.7 ELTS updates

Since the launch of TYPO3 v8.7 ELTS, there have been bug fixes and security updates. As with all ELTS releases, the details of the security fixes are not shared because these flaws are still present in any sites which aren’t protected by ELTS. That’s another good reason to get onto the ELTS program now if you’re running sites on TYPO3 v8.7.
